PODS expands executive leadership team

Clearwater, FL-based PODS Enterprises recently expanded its senior leadership team with four new hires:

Susan Jacobs was appointed Chief Marketing Officer. Jacobs will lead the moving and storage company’s marketing efforts. Most recently, Jacobs was Senior Vice President of Marketing at insurance tech startup Beam Dental, and previously a senior vice president of global brands at rental car company Hertz.

Opal Perry was appointed Chief Strategy and Digital Business Development Officer. Perry will drive a number of digital transformation and strategic growth initiatives. Perry was most recently Chief Information Officer at Hertz.

Salvador “Sal” Salazar was appointed Senior Vice President of Sales and Service. In this role, Salazar will oversee sales and service at the company’s customer care centers. Salazar previously was Senior Vice President of Operations with Hertz.

Rich Schwartz was appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations. Schwartz will lead development of new strategies to drive performance, safety and collaboration. Schwartz was previously VP Engineering and Corporate Operations for Estes Express Lines, Inc.

“PODS is fortunate to have these leaders on the team as we strive to exceed customers’ expectations,” said Kathy Marinello, CEO and President of PODS. Marinello was previously CEO of Hertz prior to joining PODS in February 2021.
