Neil Verma may not have made it as the drummer for an ‘80s hair band, but keeping the beat is still a big part of what he does today—just for business operations instead of a rock and roll. As General Counsel at Storable, he ensures everything stays in rhythm, balancing legal strategy with the company’s broader business goals.
Born in New Jersey and raised in Houston, Neil took his education to the East Coast and Midwest, earning his undergraduate degree from George Washington University and his law degree from the University of Michigan. He spent 14 years at large international law firms, eventually becoming an equity partner at Greenberg Traurig, before transitioning to an in-house role at a public company, helping launch a startup, and ultimately joining Storable.
Neil’s work philosophy is simple: be ethical, responsive, and respectful. Known for his big-picture mindset, he’s always strategizing how to push projects forward. Beyond the legal realm, he’s also an active part of the broader business and a trusted advisor to Storable’s leadership team.
Outside of work, Neil is always on the move—literally. Up before the sun most mornings, he thrives on physical challenges, from weight lifting, to spin class, and boot camps. Next up? Climbing Pike’s Peak. His desk is a reflection of his passions, featuring a drumstick, a University of Michigan flag, and a speaker—because whether it’s music, business, or fitness, everything is better with a beat.
