Trojan Storage has purchased a 72,850-square-foot self-storage facility and adjoining land in the Chicago area for $11.65 million.
Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of AAA Self Storage, located at 300 Sundown Road in South Elgin, IL. Sean Delaney, senior vice president of investments, represented the buyer and the seller, Shanahan Enterprises LLC. Trojan plans to build a three-story climate-controlled building on the 2.4 acre parcel next door. The existing facility, built in 1995, offers 388 storage units inside of eight drive up storage buildings. The facility was 96% occupied at time of sale.

The Argus Self Storage Advisors team of Kim Van Delinder and Larry Hayes of Hayes & Associates announced the closing of Montana Mini Storage in Butte, MT.
